Shri Govind Ram Kataruka
Enterprising “KATARUKAS” MIGRATED FROM JHUNJHUNU(Rajasthan) to Purulia as one of the earliest settlers at Purulia. By dint of honesty, industry and adventurous spirit “KATARUKAS” made a notable contribution to the development of Purulia, providing livelihood to over 500 families in business and industry. Late Shri Govind Ram Kataruka pioneered many projects of social welfare with spread of education, as the cause was most clear to him. His son Shri Basuded Kataruka is holding torch high moving a step forward for the welfare of the society.
